Fundraise for Us

Fundraising is a fun and rewarding way to help create a world where people and nature live in harmony.

Are you thinking of doing a fun-run or marathon, organising a special event or celebrating a milestone? Why not use the occasion to raise awareness and funds to help protect precious species and habitats.

You can sign-up to an existing event or create your own.

How to fundraise

The easiest way to fundraise is to set up a page on secure fundraising websites JustGiving or GiveaLittle that way the donations you collect come directly to WWF-New Zealand

If you prefer to fundraise offline, go to Ways to Donate to find out more.

Here are some wild ideas you might like to try.

Yoga for Biodiversity

Are you a yoga teacher or do you enjoy practicing yoga with friends and acquaintances?

Then organise a very special yoga class – "Yoga for Biodiversity".

Many yoga poses and asanas are named after animals, a lot of who are threatened. Put them at the forefront of your practice and collect donations to help protect them.

Give something back to nature by doing the dolphin for the dolphins.

Panda Paddle

New Zealanders love to get out on the water and spend time in nature.

So why not raise some money to help protect our ocean at the same time?

Get together a group of friends, or challenge yourself to kayak, canoe or paddleboard a set distance in a sponsored 'Panda Paddle'.

The body of water, distance you paddle and what you paddle on is entirely up to you!

Wear it Wild

Wear it Wild is WWF's schools fundraising event.

In schools across the country, students (and teachers) will be wearing an item of wildlife-inspired fancy dress to raise funds, raise awareness and have grrrrrreat fun too!

Go big with a full costume, or small with a mask.

It's a great way to introduce children to caring for our amazing world and it’s wildlife.

Give the Earth an hour

On the day that landmarks and homes across the world switch off their lights for an hour, we ask you to spend time doing something - anything - positive for our planet.
